Wu Kai Sha Beach Cleanup

We went to the beach in Wu Kai Sha to pick up rubbish that people littered, and I realized that people actually litter a lot in Hong Kong. Even though it wasn't the best experience, I had a great time serving the community. We found different kinds of trash that people littered-- from normal cans to even metals or animal skin.

St Barnabas Flag Day

In this service, we sold flags and made money for the homeless people. We were divided into groups and i was with Joey Ryan (9G1) and Emma Seay (9G3). At first, I found some difficutlies in selling the flags while both Joey and Emma selled the flags really fast. However, after a while I soon caught up with the others and sold out more flags. I think this service was very fun and I look forward to doing more of these kind of services.

Crossroads

At Crossroads, i helped planting trees and vegetables. From this service, i learnt more about the needs of the farmers who support organic farming, and that it is actually very hard for them to sell and make a profit out of these products. I believe everyone should start buying organice food as they are much harder to plant and we should give these farmers a chance to stand in this society
